About Us
Our Firm
We are a small law firm located on Oneida Nation of the Thames which is about 30 kms Southwest of London, Ontario. We specialize in Family and Child Protection Law litigation and alternative dispute resolution. We also offer services in Indigenous and Aboriginal Law.
At Doxtator Law we know that you have options when deciding who will represent you, from sole Practitioners to large scale law firms, the prospects can be overwhelming. Although Doxtator Law is a new law firm in its beginning stages of operation, we offer exceptional advocacy skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
We understand the level of emotion involved anytime our services are required and we are committed to alleviating apprehension by availing ourselves to our clients in a way that large law firms simply cannot do. Our firm offers an experience that will leave clients feeling valued, heard, and appreciated and that is why clients call on us to advocate for them.
Erica Doxtator
B.A. (Hons.), J.D, Barrister and Solicitor

My name is Erica Doxtator, I am a Barrister and Solictor licensed to practice law in Ontario. I am a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and Osgoode Hall Law School. I have a Bachelor of Arts in First Nations Studies and a Juris Doctor of Law Degree. I first set my sights on law school in my first semester of University after having become aware of the systematic oppression faced by Indigenous people. As a result, I have committed the last 10 years to becoming a lawyer and an advocate for Indigenous people, a group in which I identify myself.
Through my work at various Law firms in London and St. Thomas Ontario, I was able to gain practical experience that served as a foundation in which to build my legal career. I had a particular interest in Child Protection and Office of the Children's Lawyer cases. I feel that with the right supports, caregivers and children can maintain bonds that are integral to their identities and overall wellbeing.
I am Haudenosaunee from Oneida Nation of the Thames located 30 km Southwest of London, Ontario. My office is located within the Oneida community to better serve those from my Nation and surrounding First Nations communities. The majority of my down time is spent with my two children who are incredibly intelligent, kind, and compassionate individuals. My children bring so much light into my life and my love for them is what inspired my passion for Family and Child Protection law.
